Coronavirus – stepping up to help

LRB Consulting Ltd works with many companies, large and small throughout the UK. During the recent coronavirus lockdown period, we provided our clients with up to date information regarding keeping safe and healthy during the lockdown as well as the knowledge to help them reoccupy business premises.

However, one business Display by Design has not fully locked down. Although they are on reduced staff levels, they have adapted to change.

Established in 2000 Display By Design Ltd is a family-run shopfitting & display manufacturing company. The company offers a high level of service from Design & Prototypes through to manufacture, project management & installation. The Company has an extensive 82,000sq ft manufacturing factory & 18,000sq ft storage factory site in Leicester. They have utilised their design, project, and manufacturing teams to change the whole manufacturing process. They usually make products that find their way to leading stores in the UK as point-of-sale displays, etc. They are now making some items of personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction products (such as large plastic shields) that will help to maintain safety in the workplace.

This family-run business has not sat on its laurels but, instead, has stepped up to the challenge and provided solutions for a wide range of companies such as Rolls Royce, Next, P&G, Waitrose, O2, Tesco and Asda to name a few. Products include plastic face protection shields – a product not previously made by this organisation.

With all these projects as well as all the normal manufacturing they carry out they understand that Health and Safety plays a significant role within their business in which LRB Consulting Limited provides help, guide, train, and advise.
