The Admin Blog – LRB Health & Safety Consulting News

It has been incredibly busy in the office over the past few weeks. We have been working hard on a contract to provide Water Hygiene, Legionella and Asbestos Legionnaires’ disease approved code of practice booktraining to a major client, and in the office, this primarily involves preparing all of the training materials and collating them into folders. In our office, we do not have a large amount of space to enable us to store a large number of materials, so each week we get fresh folders delivered, into which we put the training course documents.

In amongst all of this additional work we need to find time to complete our normal Health & Safety consultancy tasks. Over the past few weeks Jamie has been updating and improving a number of processes with which we track and action every proposal for services, to ensure that one isn’t accidentally forgotten about. Whilst updating and documenting the process it is quite difficult to ensure that what is written is still understandable and recognisable to the current process, a number of revisions were made which resulted in the finished document being more easily understood than before.

In the meantime we have been busy promoting two upcoming training courses, a Fire Marshal Training course, and a Health & Safety in the Workplace course, both of which we will need to prepare for in early December. One of our main methods of marketing our training courses is to send out an electronic newsletter, containing a number of useful updates, news stories and guides, as well as any upcoming training courses, we have sent two out in November already, and a third will be going out in late November.

The website is also in the process of being updated, the training course pages are being updated with new information and a revised layout, and the question and answer sessions covering Fire Safety, Food Safety and Asbestos have been updated as well.
